The New Street and Health Literacy

New Street service brochure

brochure

"The final brochure is colourful and interesting, but still meets health literacy standards and conveys the necessary information."

New Street is a new service in Northern NSW that needed an information brochure to let people know about the service. The service is for young people, so the brochure needed to be welcoming and interesting for the target group.

The New Street and Health Literacy teams developed a draft brochure and then sought community feedback. Feedback was positive about the information in the brochure, but young people consulted thought that it was too boring. The team listened to this feedback and engaged a graphic designer to add some interest to the brochure.

The final brochure is colourful and interesting, but still meets health literacy standards and conveys the necessary information.
